I am a little confused on how Steelix has 7 start moves while Onix starts with 4. How can someone get a Steelix that knows Fire Fang, Ice Fang, and Thunder Fang if one has to first trade an Onix holding Metal Coat for it to become Steelix and even if it is a lv. 1 Onix it would already know its 4 Starting moves. Does Steelix learn Fire Fang, Ice Fang, and Thunder Fang when it is traded as an Onix and evolves? Could someone please explain this to me.
