In a test of this glitch, Mamoswine was completely unaffected by the damage from the glitch. The glitch still affected other Pokémon on the field like normal. It seems that not being affected might be keyed off of immunity to {{m|Sandstorm}} and {{m|Hail}}. I hope to test this at some point with {{m|Skill Swap}} and {{a|Sand Veil}}.
