The way I do it, I don't need to time anything by myself, this is how: | |||
# Record the animation from an emulator | |||
# Crop and mirror, then save as .avi in a program called VirtualDub (Mirror because I record it from the status screen) | |||
# Open that in Photoshop (I use CS4) and make it transparent, then save as animated gif. | |||
# Open the gif animation in a program called GIF Movie Gear, edit it there and save as animated png. | |||
This way, you don't have to count anything by yourself, the fact you recorded it gives you the correct timing. |
