Talk:Original series: Difference between revisions

Where does "Original Series" come from? I believe (though I'm not sure) it is a name given by the fandom or... at least it is how ''we'' call these "seasons" but, if it isn't like {{tt|"official"|or something...}} it should be stated that Original Series it's not an ''official'' name and that we came up with it. Advanced Generation and Diamond and Pearl (well, the last one might be OK since it comes from the japanese name of the seasons) and I don't know about AG. But my point is: Where did we take that name? We just named it... just because? Out of the nowhere only because "we have the need to name it differently  from the latter seasons"?
