Hikari is a ten year old girl living in the region of [[Shin'ō]]. Today's supposed to be a memorable day when one begins a journey as a Pokemon Trainer. Before Hikari goes out, she obtains a old ribbon from [[Ayako|her mother]]. Hikari starts her journey by heading towards the Pokémon Laboratory to get her starter Pokémon, but she's completely perplexed by the roads and ends up completely lost, even saying "Please pokémon!" in a restaurant. Meanwhile at the lab, a fight between Hikozaru and [[Hikari's Pochama|Pochama]], do them flew from the lab and get on a Ariados' net!
