The article says that the new girl replaces Kris. But seeing as HGSS are specifically Gold/Silver remakes, instead of a Crystal remake, wouldn't it make more sense to say this new girl is just new, not a replacement? Just like the FRLG heroine didn't replace anyone because no female choice existed in RGYB, the HGSS girl replaces no-one as well.
