However, it appears that trainer Pokémon use a random trainer ID, which is different even between Pokémon of the same trainer, and re-loading from save to fight the same trainer gives different trainer IDs each time. Their Trainer OT name is your name. Again, I think it's reasonable to assume that this is the case in for all trainers you battle in Generation III.
