:You do realize that some keyboards don't have the same layout, right? Also, the second character (the one that's being used) is, I believe, a single quote, which the apostrophe is commonly used in place of. It's one of those characters that tends to get mistaken for another character, similar to how some languages and countries use something besides American quotation marks.
