Terapagos (game): Difference between revisions

As [[Nemona]], [[Penny]], Arven, and the player made their way down Area Zero, they went into [[Area Zero#Research Station|Research Station No. 1]], and the player had the option to read a journal written by [[Professor Sada]]{{sup/9|S}}/[[Professor Turo]]{{sup/9|V}} before their [[Death in the Pokémon world|death]], describing their research and theories on Terapagos, which had its name censored or obscured.

At some point, a descendant of Heath, [[Briar]], started to study and prepare herself for another expedition to Area Zero, specifically to find Terapagos and prove to the world that Heath's writings were true. She was also revealed to possess the original manuscript of Heath, where the information about Terapagos is completely readable. She took part in a join school trip to [[Kitakami]] between the Naranja Academy{{sup/9|S}}/Uva Academy{{sup/9|V}} and the [[Blueberry Academy]], while also attempting to get permission from the Paldean Pokémon League to go do her expedition to Area Zero.

Later on, Briar was finally allowed to travel into Area Zero with a small team of students from [[Blueberry Academy]]: [[Carmine]], [[Kieran]], and the player. They together ventured into the Area Zero Underdepths thanks to the [[Zero Lab]]'s elevator. As they went deeper, they are forced to defeat many Pokémon Terastallized into the Stellar Tera Type in order to remove crystal barriers in their path. Finally, they arrived at the chamber where Terapagos is slumbering; however, determined to defeat the player, Kieran awakened and caught Terapagos with his [[Master Ball]]. He was then encouraged by Briar to battle the player in order to witness its power, but Terapagos is easily defeated.

Briar believes Terapagos power should be way bigger than that and, after looking into the book, she tells Kieran to Terastallize Terapagos, convinced that filling it with [[Terastal energy]] will reveal its identity as the hidden treasure of Area Zero. This causes Terapagos to transform into its Stellar Form, but it lost control due to the energy overload. As the cavern began to crack and collapse due to its power, Kieran tried to [[recall]] Terapagos, but it managed to destroy the Master Ball. The player and Carmine challenged Terapagos, but Carmine was quickly defeated due to her [[Party|team]] being weakened by the [[wild Pokémon]] earlier outside of the cavern. Terapagos allowed the player to Terastallize four times, but it absorbed the energy back, forming a Tera Raid Shield for the first three. The player soon managed to encourage Kieran into joining the battle, and both together succeeded in weakening Terapagos enough for it to return to its Normal Form, which allowed the player to catch it, saving everyone from its uncontrolled power.

After the four returned to the Blueberry Academy, Briar apologized for putting them in danger and revealed that she wrote [[Briar's Book|a book]] about their expedition, finally confirming Terapagos's existence to the public.  

If the player travels to [[Kitakami]]'s [[Crystal Pool]] with Terapagos in their team and Briar's Book in their bag, it will use its powers to temporarily bring Sada{{sup/9|S}}/Turo{{sup/9|V}} from the past or possibly another timeline to this one. After a brief conversation, the player will trade their copy of Briar's Book for the Professor's copy of the Scarlet Book{{sup/9|S}}/Violet Book{{sup/9|V}}, before the professor returns to their own time.
