 In [[Episode RR]] in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, [[Giovanni]] comes to [[Alola]] from an alternate universe in which [[Team Rocket]] was successful in achieving its goals. He then forms [[Team Rainbow Rocket]] by summoning other [[villainous team]] leaders from alternate worlds where they each also succeeded in their goals: [[Maxie]], [[Archie]], [[Cyrus]], [[Lysandre]], and [[Ghetsis]]. All of these leaders use the [[Legendary Pokémon]] they have successfully captured from their original titles. [[Colress]] uses his technology to send them back to their original worlds after they are each defeated by the {{player}}. Episode RR ends with Giovanni wondering what other worlds he could attack next before vanishing on his own.
