Once the player has defeated the [[Loyal Three]], returned to the [[Dreaded Den]], and battled [[Kieran]] for the final time, they will battle {{ga|Ogerpon}}. It uses each of its four masks in four consecutive [[Titan Pokémon|Titan]]-style boss battles, using the {{form|Ogerpon|Hearthflame}}, {{form|Ogerpon|Wellspring}}, {{form|Ogerpon|Cornerstone}}, and {{form|Ogerpon|Teal}} Masks in that order. Once it is defeated in its Teal Mask form, it can be caught, with the player able to use any Poké Ball with a guaranteed catch rate. The player will also receive Ogerpon's masks (except the Teal Mask) after catching it. Ogerpon's [[Nature]] is always Lonely.
