===Treasures of Ruin===

Each of the [[Legendary Pokémon]] known as the [[Treasures of Ruin]] can be found in locked Shrines throughout Paldea, which are opened by collecting eight stakes found in the same province as the respective shrines. If the Pokémon is defeated or the player has no remaining Pokémon, the Pokémon will retreat into the Shrine, which will be accessible again after a period of time. Once a Treasure of Ruin is caught, the Shrine will remain in its broken state and cannot be accessed again.
