:::Unfortunately no, Trick has 100% accuracy, and no moves were used in the fight to raise evasion or lower accuracy either battle, and neither their Alakazam nor my Claydol or Empoleon have any abilities that would affect the move hitting either. I looked around some more, and another website documenting moves seems to believe that in Gens 3 and 4, the move also fails if used by an opponent in a trainer battle as well.
