She forms a [[sync pair]] with {{p|Pheromosa}}. She was first introduced in the [[story event]] [[Family Ties]]. The sync pair can be obtained through the {{DL|sync pair|sync pair scout}} starting on September 10, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to [[Sync pair#Increasing potential|6★ EX]] from when the pair was first released, which unlocks Lusamine's EX Style.

Lusamine is also available in her [[Sygna Suit]], forming a sync pair with {{form|Necrozma|Dusk Mane}} {{p|Necrozma}}, which is capable of using [[Ultra Burst]] and transforming into Ultra Necrozma. This sync pair is available through a limited sync pair scout and was first made available on November 30, 2021.
