::I think Chimchar does battle, and gets out of control, but we're all forgetting about the other pokemon that has evolution questions. I think since Ash's Gligar battles Paul's Gliscor, Gligar evolves in this episode, not Chimchar. It fits into the plot's pattern of randomness. The writers know that there is speculation about Chimchar. So they throw some information out there and make it seem like Chimchar may evolve. BAM! At that moment they've got us, and they can do what they want and the result is another plot twist. This one being Gligar evolves. And no Ash doesnt have the razor fang or is it at night, etc... but that just makes more of a case for why the evolution would occur, ''in not making sense, it makes sense'' | |||
