::Sure, but the current wording on the page for Ash's Pignite states that he was the "third Pokémon that Ash caught in the Unova region". Again, this wording implies that Oshawott was "caught", even though he was actually given to Ash by Professor Juniper. I think "obtained" is more inclusive in this aspect, since it can apply to any Pokémon.
