In the front of book there is a page with several removable stickers that could be used to personalize a game cartridge case. Each sticker features one of the three starter pokémon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile), with one of each for the two versions of the game (gold and silver). Each sticker has spots where one can write in their player name and starter pokémon's nickname.<ref>Pokémon Gold & Silver Japanese Cartridge Case Stickers (Adventure Clear Guide).
