 Al was eventually found by a single [[Dada|Zarude]] living deep within the jungle. This Zarude attempted to return Al to his parents, however an attempt to leave him in [[Milyfa Town]] led to Al nearly walking in front of a car. Zarude decided to investigate a nearby lab and upon seeing its wrecked state and a photo of Al with his parents realized that the baby was now an orphan. Zarude decided to raise Al as a son and renamed him Koko. Knowing that this was against the rules of its troop, Zarude decided to leave the other Zarude behind so it could raise Koko safely, as they objected to a human being brought to their sacred tree. This Zarude, who took to wearing a torn piece of pink clothing, would become known as "Dada" to Koko.
