:: The documentation template just needs to transclude the /doc subpage on to the template page, so that if template pages need to be protected, documentation can remain editable. The template you've created is great, but also way too much for what our wiki needs. The one you've created seems based on the system Wikipedia uses, and their templating system is massively more complicated than ours. As for tables vs div, on a regular website I would absolutely agree, but on MediaWiki, a basic three row table is a lot less code and easier for a new user to understand. We want to encourage new users to dive into templates more, and to do that we want to keep them as simple as possible. I also think categories can be included on the template page itself, having them on the sub-page is adding unnecessary complexity. I want to stress that what you've created is really good... It's just not what we need. - bthrussellUK (talk) 17:31, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
I see you and others working on new infobox templates, such as Infobox and Infobox. However, I could try making single modules for infoboxes, so the infoboxes become much easier to code.
I know, it would require large amounts of re-coding many infoboxes, which could potentially induce server stress, but I think my initiative can work. I didn't make those modules yet, but I will make them soon. --<span style="font-family:Corbel,sans-serif"><span style="color:#4ed">Bfdi</span><span style="color:#3f3">fan</span><span style="color:#ea4">2006</span></span> 20:06, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
