...Celedon city is a very large and important city by the way, but the Sevii Islands settlements are usually small and unnamed. They are event islands so it could mean all manner of things. Perhaps they didn't want to name them 8 and 9 islands?

By the way, I've been reading the pokemon special manga summaries on serebii.net (very '''detailed''' summaries I might add), and noticed that they refer to one island as simply one island, but is is known as the knot island (that means it's a nickname). Granted it was a summary (I already said it was detailed though) and the manga is not nessesaraly regaurded as canon, but it's the best we've got and almost certainly proves that one island and such are the real names.
