So I agree with the suggestion that this article gets moved to hacking because the word cheating is firstly not 100% accurate (some "cheat codes" or other modifications are actually used to make the game more challenging) and second, it sounds too close to "spouse cheating" which is something that is actually wrong while hacking in Pokemon games is more subjective but not inherently unethical.
Additionally, some of the players who are anti-hacking are worse than the players who do hack. I've received death threats and even rape threats from anti-hackers only for hacking for event Pokemon, let alone more drastic codes. Meanwhile hacking for event Pokemon is innocent compared to that.
