Gordie: Difference between revisions

Gordie is the sixth Gym Leader [[Galar]] {{pkmn|Trainer}}s face in their [[Galar League|Gym Challenge]] in Pokémon Sword. He is believed to have received his education from his mother, [[Melony]], who was the Gym Leader of [[Circhester]].<ref>https://swordshield.pokemon.com/en-us/people-galar-region/rock-type-gym-leader-gordie/</ref> However instead of becoming an {{type|Ice}} user like his mom, he chose to use the {{t|Rock}} type due to him admiring that type more and find his own path to greatness. This resulted in the two having a fall out after a heated battle, which neither seeing each other since. There are few {{tc|Gym Trainer}}s in his Gym due to his strict training style.

As a rising star, many believed he has the potential of becoming the [[Galar League]] {{pkmn|Champion}}. Gordie uses {{type|Rock}} Pokémon to achieve victory through refined and graceful battle style, despite the type's rough and unrelenting reputation. He is considered one of the strongest Galar Trainers in terms of popularity and skills. He has tendency to shut himself away in locker room should he lose, making it hard to get an interview from him. Most of his fans find this trait to be endearing regardless. He has quite the fanbase, and he tries his best to make the fans happy by either giving out autographs or hosting events.
