Eon Ticket: Difference between revisions

In Mexico, the Eon Ticket was given away during the {{wp|Electronic Game Show}} 2003, a videogame conference that took place at the World Trade Center of Mexico City from October 23 to 26. The distribution event was a joint collaboration between Club Nintendo Mexico and Nintendo of America. To get the item, players had to go to the Nintendo booth at the expo with their Game Boy Advance (any model) and a cartridge of Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire; once there, a Nintendo employee used a Game Boy Advance, an e-Reader, a Game Link Cable an a Eon Ticket e-Card to transfer the item to the players' cartridge. Aside from the Pokémon Event, the expo was famous for a variety of reasons: Club Nintendo gave away a special issue of their magazine, players could play Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Party 5 before they were released and Charles Martinet, the voice actor of Mario, gave his autograph to the visitors.
