Iris's Dragonite: Difference between revisions

Unlike the majority of his species, who are known for their gentle and kindhearted nature, Dragonite is a very intimidating and aggressive Pokémon, and his hostile facial expression, and constant intimidating demeanour notably sets him apart from all other Dragonite. He is the kind of Pokémon that is ready and willing to take on all opponents. At first, Dragonite proved himself to be incredibly untrustworthy towards humans, angrily attacking {{an|Iris}} at first sight, and refused to listen to Iris' pleas of peace, and only after Iris was ready to put herself in harm's way to protect him was when Dragonite decided to trust her, albeit to a small extent, and this also caused Dragonite to become interested in the young Trainer and allowed himself to be captured. However, as seen in ''[[BW090|Jostling for the Junior Cup!]]'', he isn't so ready to listen to her commands. Slowly but surely Dragonite started trusting his Trainer, from his first battle against Georgia's Beartic, which he didn't listen to Iris at all, to ''[[BW091|Battling Authority Once Again!]]'' in which Dragonite only listened to Iris's first command against Dawn's Mamoswine, then ''[[BW092|Ash, Iris, and Trip: Then There Were Three!]]'' where Dragonite listened to all of Iris's orders against Ash's Krokorok until he evolved into Krookodile and hit him with his newly learned Dragon Claw. By ''[[BW097|Unova's Survival Crisis!]]'', Dragonite understood his Trainer's feelings, and then from then on, he started to obey Iris.
