Fling (move): Difference between revisions

Fling inflicts damage; the power of the move is determined by the user's [[held item]]. The move will fail if the user has no held item, or if their held item is a [[TM]], an [[Ability Capsule]], a [[Festival Ticket]], the [[Red Orb]], the [[Blue Orb]], the [[Rusted Sword]], the [[Rusted Shield]], an [[Apricorn]], a [[Gem]], a [[Poké Ball]], [[Mail]], a [[Z-Crystal]], or any other item not listed below (besides [[TR]]s). After using Fling, the item is consumed, even if the target has protected themselves with a move like {{m|Protect}} or {{m|Detect}}.
