:::::::::: Again, I did read it. I already told you I checked the template article as hard as I could. I read everything. It did not explain what I actually wanted to know. Consistency is one thing, but the actual usefulness of that particular template was only explained to me by AnimalTamer7. It is not mentioned in the article proper. See my earlier "But it doesn't mention the part about the template removing the (redirected from Ash) note on the top of the page, only that templates exist to shorten the length of links." comment. I'm well aware of the purpose of templates in ''general''. And to be clear, of course I'm always going to abide by the rules of editing consistency of the wiki, It's just that I wanted to know more clearly why it was required. Do you understand what I mean? I wasn't asking "why I should use templates", I was asking "what is the advantage to using THIS template". I hope this clears up any confusion.
