Tynamo (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Tynamo and its evolved forms may be based on {{wp|electric eel}}s, {{wp|lamprey}}s, and possibly {{wp|leech}}es or {{wp|lancelet}}s. The fact that it is an {{t|Electric}} type may be an allusion to {{wp|bioelectrogenesis}}. It also resembles {{wp|leptocephalus}}, larval stage of the eel, or also a {{wp|knifefish}}. The waving yellow mark running along its body combined with the physical appearance overall makes certain resemblance to ''{{wp|Haikouichthys}}'', or even a {{wp|Crookes tube}} or a {{wp|Geissler tube}}. Tynamo may also be based on a {{wp|Rod (optics)|skyfish}}, which would explain its {{a|Levitate}} [[Ability]].
