JN041: Difference between revisions

[[Ash Ketchum|Ash]] and [[Goh]] are walking down a forest. When they arrive at a clearing, they encounter a half-buried [[Marshtomp  (Pokémon)|Marshtomp]], much to their shock. While Goh scans Marshtomp with his [[Rotom Phone]], Ash and Pikachu attempt to break the dry ground to set Marshtomp free, but to no avail. Goh attempts to catch it with a [[Poké Ball]], but it fails as well due to Marshtomp being stuck in the ground. Next, Ash and Goh see a row of Marshtomp in the grass. Ash plans to use one of the Marshtomp to use [[Water Gun (move)|Water Gun]], but as Ash approaches them, the Marshtomp back away out of wary. Next, they request [[Goh's Sobble|Sobble]] to use Water Gun, but Sobble shies away and becomes invisible, presumably fleeing after exchanging stares with the buried Marshtomp. The group returns to the forest to gather water from a nearby waterfall. First, they attempt to carry a bucket worth of water with a leaf until Ash drops it after tripping on a pebble, and then Ash tries to carry water in his mouth, which fails after responding to Goh about this plan. [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] notices the group of Marshtomp surrounding their buried friend, but they run back to the grass when the group returns. They notice the buried Marshtomp is becoming weak. As they try to think of a plan, a [[Ludicolo (Pokémon)|Ludicolo]] appears. Pikachu lures the Ludicolo to come to the buried Marshtomp. Ash commands Ludicolo to use [[Rain Dance (move)|Rain Dance]], but the Ludicolo misinterprets for [[Sunny Day (move)|Sunny Day]], causing the ground to become much drier, much to Ash and Goh's shock. Ludicolo tries again after seeing the buried Marshtomp, now desperate. Rain finally falls as the Marshtomp frolic around. The ground becomes wet and mud, allowing Marshtomp to be free. Ludicolo swings the previously-buried Marshtomp to dance with it. By the time the sun sets, the group of Marshtomp dance with Ludicolo and the previously-buried Marshtomp. Ash and Goh take their leave. The next day, they are shocked to see all the Marshtomp from yesterday buried in the same ground.
