The original Japanese print run had several text errors including missing damage values and misleading attack descriptions. In Spring 2001, over a year after the original Japanese release, a second print run was made to correct these errors. By this time though the damage had already been done and to this day the error versions appear much more frequently. From the front, corrected booster packs are indistinguishable from the original packs, but on the back the EAN-13 code and ST product certification are different, with the original having an EAN-13 of "4935228 98512 8" and ST of "9" (1999) and the corrected version having an EAN-13 of "4521329 00794 6" and ST of "1" (2001). | |||
