Swellow debuted in ''[[AG046|Candid Camerupt!]]''. Vito of the [[Winstrate family]] used it to secretly protect his family.

A {{Shiny}} Swellow debuted in ''[[AG085|Sky High Gym Battle!]]'', under the ownership of [[Winona]]. She used it during her [[Gym]] {{pkmn|battle}} against Ash. It faced off against {{AP|Grovyle}}, which it was able to defeat, but it was later defeated by Ash's own Swellow.

A Swellow appeared in the Hoopa's Surprise Ring Adventures short ''{{DL|Hoopa's Surprise Ring Adventures|Flying in the Air}}''. It was among the immense {{type|Flying}} Pokémon summoned by {{an|Hoopa}} to create wind for Ash and {{AP|Pikachu}}, but their combined {{m|Gust}} was too much for them and sent them blasting off.

A Swellow appeared in ''[[DP118|Pursuing a Lofty Goal!]]'' as one of the participants of [[Squallville PokéRinger]] competition. It was used against a {{p|Wingull}}.

Multiple Swellow appeared in ''[[DP013|A Staravia Is Born!]]'', where they were among the {{type|Flying}} Pokémon captured by Team Rocket.

Multiple Swellow made a brief cameo in ''[[M11|Giratina and the Sky Warrior]]''.

Multiple Swellow appeared in ''[[BW130|Butterfree and Me!]]'' as residents of [[Wayfarer Island]].

A Swellow appeared in ''[[M16|Genesect and the Legend Awakened]]'', where it was among the {{type|Flying}} Pokémon who raced {{OBP|Mewtwo|M16}}.

A {{pkmn|Trainer}}'s Swellow appeared in ''[[XY077|A Relay in the Sky!]]'', where it was participating in the [[Pokémon Sky Relay]].
