Hi, my Chris and I come from England. I’ve been a fan of Pokémon now for nearly eight years and over that time I have owned all of the mainstream games as well as all the Stadiums, Colosseums and I now own PBR. My enjoyment started when I was at school in a Physics lesson. One of my mates was playing Pokémon Blue under the desk and he was seriously addicted to it, at lunch he let me have a look at it and bang I was hooked. The next day I went straight out and bought Pokémon Red. The rest is history. | |||

I was pretty disappointed in these games, I thought the new Pokémon introduced just did not stand out like those of the previous Generations, I thought Hoenn was rather rushed together and could have been a much more interesting & I also thought they left way to many Pokémon out at the time of release although {{2v2|FireRed|LeafGreen}} did help to fill that gap when they came out. | |||

These are, in many was, the best game out, but in some ways it has also gone backwards. By the end of the Generation {{Gen|II}} there were some types that were just better because the Pokémon of those types were stronger than the other types. By the end of the Generation {{Gen|III}} I feel this gap had been closed somewhat but I thought {{2v2|Diamond|Pearl}} started to reverse this process - still one hell of a game mind. | |||
