This card was included in the {{TCG|XY}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Xerneas Half Deck|Xerneas}} and {{TCG|Yveltal Half Deck}}s. It was reprinted in the Japanese {{TCG|M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck}}. An unnumbered XY-P Promotional print was one of five Trainer cards available in conjunction with the ''Pokémon Card Game Deck Building Seminar'' event held as part of the Pokémon Center Pokémon Card Game School. This was present at participating Pokémon Centers in Japan from October 25 to November 16, 2014 and was open for elementary school-aged children. A 20-card set comprising two copies each of five Trainer cards plus 10 Energy cards could be purchased at Pokémon Centers during the event for ¥100. It was later reprinted in the {{TCG|Phantom Forces}} expansion, previously released in the Japanese {{TCG|Hyper Metal Chain Deck}}, as well as the Japanese {{TCG|Super Legend Set: Xerneas-EX & Yveltal-EX}}, {{TCG|Emboar-EX vs Togekiss-EX Deck Kit}}, {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Power Style}}, and the {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style}}.
It was also included in the special English {{TCG|Generations}} expansion and the Japanese {{TCG|BREAK Starter Pack}}, both of which commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. In Japan, a Mirror Reverse Holofoil reprint was included in the {{TCG|Premium Champion Pack}}. It was reprinted again in the {{TCG|Fates Collide}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Zygarde-EX Perfect Battle Deck}} and {{TCG|M Audino-EX Mega Battle Deck}}. Another unnumbered XY-P Promotional print was 1 of 9 cards available in special packs sent to officialJapanese Event Organizers in Japan starting July 2016 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
During the Japanese Sun & Moon Era, this card was reprinted in {{TCG|The Best of XY}} subset. A new {{TCG|Full Art card|Full Art}} print with artwork by [[Naoki Saito]] was also released within the subset. This new print was made into one of the {{TCG|Yellow A Alternate cards}} released within the {{TCGMerch|Sun & Moon|Series|Premium Trainer's XY Collection}}, with the Fates Collide print's numbering.
