Aura: Difference between revisions

In the [[Pokémon world]]'s past, there were once [[human]]s that could sense Aura and control its power. These humans, known as Aura Guardians, traveled around doing good deeds and passing on their skills to those who also possessed this innate ability. One famous Aura Guardian was [[Sir Aaron]], who took a {{OBP|Lucario|M08}} as his apprentice and became a hero when he sacrificed himself to stop a war from destroying the area around the [[Tree of Beginning]]. In ''[[DP056|The Keystone Pops!]]'', the group heard the story of how a {{p|Spiritomb}} was sealed away by an Aura Guardian who traveled with a {{p|Pikachu}}. However, the Aura Guardians disappeared from history, for some undisclosed reason for a very long time before the present era. The only humans in the present time known to have the ability to control Aura are [[Riley]] and {{Ash}}, although he decided to continue his journey as a [[Pokémon Trainer]] rather than follow up on the revelation. However, Ash did follow in the footsteps of both known Aura Guardians by helping Lucario to save the Tree of Beginning and resealing Spiritomb, after the Forbidden Pokémon was accidentally released from the place that it was sealed away.

In ''[[DP071|Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu! (Part 1)]]'', Ash sensed a presences nearby while traveling with his {{ashfr}}, which led them to meet an unnaturally strong {{p|Riolu}} [[Aura Sphere Riolu|capable of using]] the move {{m|Aura Sphere}}. Ash realize that it was Riolu's Aura that he sensed before and felt its emotion and saw its memories. After hearing that Riolu has been captured by two various groups for their evil purposes and seeing that its now being haunted by Pokémon Hunter [[J]], Ash and his friends decided to help [[Top Ranger]] [[Kellyn]] get the Emanation Pokémon get back to its home kingdom. In the [[DP072|the next]] episode, when Riolu got captured by J, Ash decided to use his Aura powers to find its location, which worked and helped saved it. After being rescued and that both the groups that captured it were arrested, Riolu said its goodbye to Ash and returned to its home without worrying about getting captured ever again. Later, in ''[[DP127|Sliding Into Seventh]]'', the [[Pokédex]] entry of {{p|Medicham}} reveals it has the capability to read Aura.

In [[SS021]], Ash unknowingly used his Aura powers during a battle by sending a wave to an unhatched {{AP|Riolu}} [[egg]], which led them to forming a connection to each other and it responded by sending a wave back to him, after the battle was over. After sensing the presences of the egg at the [[Vermilion City]] [[Pokémon Center]], Ash was given the egg by [[Nurse Joy]]. When the egg hatched in the middle of the night, Riolu, who didn't recognized Ash, due to not feeling his Aura, left the [[Sakuragi Institute]] and attack various wild Pokémon. However, while watching Ash battle a wild {{p|Onix}}, Riolu sensed the young Trainers Aura powers. After recognizing Ash's aura, Riolu decided to stay by his side.
