However, Koreda's short temper caused Ditto start get nervous during shootings and become unable to transform properly. Scared away by his harsh words, Ditto ran away and wound up with {{TRT}}, who taught it to control its nerves and transform properly again. The trio had planned to add Ditto as a permanent new addition to their group, but after learning that Ditto was needed back, they pretended they had kidnapped Ditto and forced it to do their bidding to cover up the fact it ran away. The trio provoked Ash and Pikachu to blast them off, and Ditto was free to return to the studio.
