I recommend surrounding it with <code>{&zwj;{filepath:''xyz''|nowiki}&zwj;}</code>, where ''xyz'' is the file name (''nowiki'' makes sure the content will not be linked). Test: {{filepath:001Bulbasaur.png|nowiki}} is the path to the Sugimori artwork of {{p|Bulbasaur}}. I have created a template for checking for existence of files: [[User:TheICTLiker4/fileexist]].
