A '''Musician''' (Japanese: '''ミュージシャン''' ''Musician'') is a type of [[Pokémon Trainer]] introduced in [[Generation V]]. In [[Unova]], they are depicted as young men with long hair and glasses playing an {{wp|acoustic guitar}} and resemble [[Generation IV]]'s {{tc|Guitarist}}s. In [[Galar]], they are depicted as young men with short hair and sunglasses holding a microphone.
 
In Generation V, most Pokémon used by Musicians are related to sound and music. In [[Generation VIII]], they specialize in {{type|Electric}} Pokémon.
 
In [[Double Battle]]s, a Musician paired with a female {{tc|Dancer}} are called a {{tc|Music Crew}}.

Another Musician appeared in ''[[PS500|With a Little Help From My Friends]]''. He iswas based on the Musician who plays the guitar in Café Sonata and teaches {{p|Meloetta}} {{m|Relic Song}} in the {{pkmn|games}}. He was impressed by {{adv|Bianca}}'s flute performances that White recorded and sent to him, thusand invited the two to Café Sonata. By the time White and Bianca arrived, he hadwas beenbeing attacked by a wild {{p|Vullaby}}, and his hand was broken as a result of the attack, which left him unable to play the guitar.
