I've seen the episode, and the Magikarp Submarine did re-appear.
Team Rocket's submarines
section
The most commonly seen Team Rocket submarine is the Magikarp submarine. Powered by pedaling, serves as underwater transportation, has arms that can be extended, and legs that can also be extended on land. Its weapons include nets and extendable fists. This is often used by Team Rocket as an alternative mode of transportation while they pursue Ash and Pikachu. It was first used in the Orange Archipelago, making its debut in Fit to be Tide!. After a long absence, it would reappear in Going for the Gold!, where it was slightly redesigned, and again in SS008.

Occasionally during the Kanto arc, a Gyarados-based submarine was used. Much like the Magikarp submarine, it is powered by pedaling and is equipped with a net launcher, extendable arms, and wheels. Its first Japanese appearance was in Beauty and the Beach, while the English debut came in Sparks Fly For Magnemite.

During the Decolore Islands arc, Team Rocket used an updated Basculin submarine designed by Dr. Zager.

After a long absence, the Magikarp submarine reappeared in Going for the Gold!, where it was slightly redesigned.

In the Alola region, Team Rocket used a Bruxish submarine, which debuted in Balloons, Brionne, and Belligerence!.
