:::::::::Firstly, Taiwan is completely independent from the rest of China, while Hong Kong is largely autonomous (have you been paying attention to the protests?). Secondly, whether or not they are countries per se has nothing to do with this discussion, North Korea is a country but it's not getting an article. The argument is whether they have enough differences that they should have seperate pages, and I believe they do. And these differences discussed should not be with regards to language or culture (otherwise the US and Canada would have the same page) but rather how the Pokémon franchise was handled in the two areas.
