In [[Pocket Monsters HGSS Jō's Big Adventure]], [[Jō]] and his {{TP|Jō|Totodile}} befriend the [[red Gyarados]] by calming its rampage and feeding it [[berry|berries]]{{Berries}}. It later appears to help Jō and [[Lance]] battle [[Ariana]] and [[Petrel]].
