The story begins when the {{player}} has a strange dream. The player hears a Pokémon call for help, and sees a vision of Munna being chased by Hydreigon. The player then realizes that he has become a Pokémon, and is promptly transported to the Pokémon world. Upon arrival, the player quickly meets the partner Pokémon, and he asks where the player is from. When the player decides to tell the truth, the partner is at first surprised, but then accepts the player's story.
