For species I feel like this guy (and the linoone, not so much the zigzagoon) might be based on honey badgers in temperament and european badgers in appearance (and possibly a little bit of inspiration from hyenas, too, but definitely mostly badger.) | |||
It's also worth noting that their patterns also resembles grease makeup (as worn by bands like KISS and Insane Clown Posse). This is also fitting with their use by Team Yell, which IMO seem to be a charicature of particularly dedicated punk rock/heavy metal fans. | |||
