Plumeria used Salazzle during the [[Battle Royal]] round of the [[Manalo Conference]]. Following the defeat of the Pokémon belonging to all of the {{tc|Team Skull Grunt}}s at the hands of [[Ilima]] and {{p|Eevee}}, Plumeria took Ilima on with Salazzle. Salazzle was able to hit Eevee with several moves before ultimately being defeated, disqualifying its trainer from the Conference.

Plumeria's Salazzle first appeared in [[PASM14]], where it was used to attack [[Gladion]] after he had arrived at Po Town for the first time. Later, at [[Vast Poni Canyon]], it was used to launch a sneak attack on [[Faba]]'s {{p|Hypno}}, defeating it and releasing its grasp on Plumeria.
