After weeks not using the Pokéwalker I decided to bring on a Stroll without a Pokémon, but then I realised that there was a Pokémon in there! The Sentret I don't remember sending it to device. When I arrived home this happenned: The Pokéwalker generated a Pokémon! Has this aver happened before with somebody, after two years owning I was got by surprise. I think it is a rare case like the Shinies and the all-31 IV. Should this image despite its state being put on the article and my case too? Have this ever happened to someone before? Details: I was already on the Hall of Fame, I had just the Silver Argenta's Print, and made no Global Link Trades, just locals.--Igor (talk) 13:17, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

:"In addition, Pokémon from the route being walked may voluntarily join in the Pokéwalker seemingly at random, taking the spot of the missing Pokémon, essentially being caught for free." == Prolonged strolling with the same Pokémon ==
I know nobody cares about Pokéwalker anymore, but still. I have been taking the same Sneasel for a Stroll for a long time, taking her to various courses and walking for days. Recently, I noticed that she started to be happier than she used to be, and rewards she randomly finds are always 50 watts or even an EV-reducing Berry, never 10 or 20 watts. Can anyone confirm if there's indeed a correlation between how long you've been walking with the same individual Pokémon and the valuability of rewards it randomly finds? Maybe the amount of levels it has gained from walking is important, since mine has already gained 10 (or even more)? I didn't find anything about that in the article, but it seems like an important point to me, even if we're talking about a 9-years-old peripheral.
