In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Hydro Pump appears as {{SSB|Greninja}}'s up special move. Greninja propels itself using two Hydro Pumps, which can also push opponents back. Since there are two Hydro Pumps, Greninja can move in two different directions if two directions are inputted.
