Rhyhorn debuts in ''[[PS007|Raging Rhydon]]'', under the ownership asof [[Koga]]'s Pokémon. After getting defeated by {{adv|Red}}'s {{p|Pikachu}}, [[Pika]], it's was forced to evolve with a mysterious injection, and knocks out [[Misty]] with its increased power.
In ''[[PS038|Long Live the Nidoqueen!?]]'', anothera Rhyhorn is seen in possession of {{adv|Giovanni}},. andIt is one of his main fighters, who knocked out {{DL|Red (Adventures)|Aero|Red's Aerodactyl}} with a simple {{m|Tail Whip}}. He also later uses him in the battle with [[Lance]] to generate a {{m|sandstorm}} by crushing rocks.
InA Rhyhorn appeared in ''[[PS179|The Last Battle XIII]]'' a Rhyhorn wasas one of the Pokémon sent to helpparticipate in the fight in [[Ilex Forest]].
In ''[[PS305|Interesting Interactions Involving Illumise]]'', Rhyhorn was one of the rental Pokémon used by {{adv|Emerald}} in his [[{{DL|Battle Factory|Factory]]Frontier challenge.(Generation A Rhyhorn appeared in ''[[PS315III)|SkirtingBattle AroundFactory}} Surskit I]]'' as a rental Pokémon that [[Guile Hideout]] stolechallenge.
