A Purrloin appeared in ''[[BW080|Clash of the Connoisseurs!]]'', under the ownership of [[Ricard Nouveau]]. It was used in a battle against {{an|Cilan}}, where it battled {{TP|Cilan|Crustle}}; it was eventually defeated by a combination of {{m|Shell Smash}} and {{m|Rock Wrecker}}. Purrloin reappeared in a flashback in ''[[BW140|Survival of the Striaton Gym!]]''.
