EP132: Difference between revisions

{{an|Brock}} looks through his guidebook and informs {{Ash}} that they should head to [[Azalea Town]] for the next [[Gym]]. The trio soon stop to admire a scenic lakeside town, but Brock is more ecited by the prospect of finding many beautiful girls. {{an|Misty}} asks why he thinks that and Brock points to a girl standing on the edge of a cliff. As soon as {{p|Marill}} appears, Misty, who just loves {{type|Water}} {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}, attempts to capture it. But the [[Poké Ball]] simply hits Marill on the head, causing it to cry out loud. Brock quickly comforts the Marill. Ash points out that Marill must already have a {{pkmn|Trainer}} because of the pink bow tied on her tail. Misty tries to hold her, but Marill doesn't seem to like Misty and cries again.  

[[Jessie]], [[James]] and {{MTR}} make their appearance, [[List of Team Rocket's disguises|disguised as farmers]], and they offer the group a lift. Unaware of the plot, Ash and {{ashfr}} hop on the vehicle. Just then, two hands appear from the hay and grab hold of {{AP|Pikachu}} and Marill. {{TRT}} detaches the vehicle's tray, leaving Ash, Misty and Brock behind, as they make their escape. Ash and his friends quickly give chase as Team Rocket throw their disguises out of the sunroof and recite their {{motto}}. Marill lets out an ear-splitting cry, causing Meowth to lose control over his driving. The truck eventually crashes into a railing and Team Rocket blasts off into the air once again. Pikachu and Marill end up rolling down the hill towards the riverside. Ash tries to go after them and ends up landing into a tree. Brock stays behind, and keeps {{TP|Misty|Togepi}} safe, while Misty continues down the hill and successfully grabs the two Pokémon. Unfortunately, she couldn't stop and falls into the river. Ash and Brock watch on as Misty, with Pikachu and Marill in hand, continues to be washed downstream.

The girl they were gazing at before rushes towards Ash and Brock. She grabs Ash by the shirt and begins shaking him violently, demanding to now where her Marill is. Brock is instantly lovestruck, and introduces himself to her and learns that her name is [[Wilhomena]].

Misty, {{AP|Pikachu}} and Marill survive the river, but Marill begins to cry again. With her temper getting the best of her, Misty yells at Marill, making her more upset. Marill then runs off, leaving her pink ribbon behind. Misty tries to hold Marill, but it simply refuses to be with her. After calming down a bit, Misty suggests that Marill use its sensitive ears to find its Trainer. During the search, Misty gets impatient with Marill and the Water-type cries.  

Ash has full confidence that Misty will take care of Marill. But Wilhomena is still worried about her Pokémon and blames herself for her disappearance. Brock starts comforting her. Afterwards, Togepi spots Marill's pink ribbon. Meanwhile, Marill rushes off after spotting a {{p|Butterfree}}, and follows it to a flower meadow. Marill begins to launch several {{m|Water Gun}} attacks at the Butterfree, but inadvertently angers a heap of {{t|Bug}} Pokémon and stir up a swarm of {{p|Beedrill}}. Ash, Brock, and Wilhomena hear Pikachu screaming and run towards the sound. However, they miss Misty, Pikachu, and Marill. The situation becomes more critical as Misty, Pikachu, and Marill reach a dead-end. Thinking quickly, Misty tells Pikachu to use {{m|ThunderShock}}. The ThunderShock manages to scare off the Beedrill. Just when things seem okay for them, rain begins to fall. Misty and the two Pokémon find shelter in a tree hollow. Elsewhere, Ash, Wilhomena and Brock seek refuge under some trees. As the lightning starts scaring Marill, Misty tries to console her. Marill rushes out of the tree crying, and Misty and Pikachu follow her. Lightning strikes a nearby tree, but Misty grabs Marill in time to save her. Misty is about to scold Marill for running off again, but realizes that she is relieved to see the Pokémon is safe.  

While Misty and the two Pokémon cross a rope bridge, a mechanical hand appears from the trees and begins shaking it. Team Rocket in their [[Team Rocket's mechas|Meowth Balloon]], make their appearance again and grabs the two Pokémon. Misty leaps and manages to grab hold of Marill. With Misty's added weight, Meowth is forced to let go of his grabber claw, sending Misty and Marill into the ravine below. However, [[Ash's Chikorita]] uses its vines to saves them in the nick of time, she pulls the pair up to where Ash, Brock and Wilhomena are standing. Wilhomena is relieved to see Marill again as Ash has Chikorita launch a {{m|Razor Leaf}} at Team Rocket's balloon. The attack strikes, and the Meowth Balloon crashes next to Ash and his friends. Pikachu is released, and returns to Ash. Jessie and James {{pkmn|battle}} against Ash and Misty with {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} and {{TP|James|Weezing}}. Misty calls on {{TP|Misty|Poliwag}}'s assistance, and it repels Weezing and its {{m|Sludge}} attack backwards. However, Arbok's {{m|Poison Sting}} almost hits Misty, but Marill uses Water Gun to save her. After that, Pikachu blows Team Rocket away with {{m|Thunderbolt}}.

 

Wilhomena is glad to see Marill has made some new friends. Ash congratulates Pikachu's efforts, but Chikorita interjects and receives most of the praise. Wilhomena offers the group a place to stay at her lake house, but Ash is eager to reach Azalea Town and declines. Wilhomena thanks the group before driving off in a limousine. Brock is heartbroken and thins he won't ever meet Wilhomena again, while Misty is nearly in tears as she waves goodbye to Marill.
