:It is almost certainly a known glitch, but we still need to research things like does it reset if you switch (probably yes), can it be Baton Passed (probably no), and are there still ways to reset it mathfreak231 17:12, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

:Here's a clip for proof: as you can see Cresselia has only done 54 damage over two Fury Cutters, then uses a different move before using Fury Cutter again for 78 damage. Relevant damage calcs:
* 10 power: Possible damage amounts: (18, 18, 18, 18, 18, 18, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 22)
* 20 power: Possible damage amounts: (34, 34, 34, 34, 34, 36, 36, 36, 36, 36, 38, 38, 38, 38, 38, 40)
* 40 power: Possible damage amounts: (66, 66, 66, 68, 68, 70, 70, 70, 72, 72, 74, 74, 74, 76, 76, 78)
:Interestingly enough, the article currently states not until Gen V that "If another move is selected, Fury Cutter's power will reset." However, the article still says that Fury Cutter must be used "successively." We need to clear up the mechanics before Gen V. Also, I believe the power does reset if a different move is used and misses, but I can't confirm this right now.
