Tommy (AG015): Difference between revisions

As a student of the [[Pokémon Trainers' School]] in [[Rustboro City]], he went on a class field trip with [[Roxanne]]'s beginner class. After a {{p|Poliwag}} ran off and was found by [[Max]], he blamed {{OBP|Kenny|AG015}} for ruining the field trip. However, [[Anita]] defended Kenny from Tommy which led into a fight, only for it to be stopped by Roxanne.

Tommy returned to the Trainer's School sometime before {{an|Professor Oak}} did a lecture via videophone. After {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} went to the beginner class, Tommy quizzed Max on what attacks would work against {{type|Flying}} and ones that are {{m|dig|underground}}. As Max answered both correctly due to his vast knowledge of Pokémon, Tommy became jealous.

The next day, while Ash was helping Kenny to overcome his fear of touching Pokémon, Tommy pretended to trip on Poliwag's tail which caused a fight between him and Max. When the class got outside, Tommy battled Max during a training class in a one-on-one [[Pokémon battle]]. Using {{p|Magby}} against Max's {{p|Poliwag}}, he got the upperhand since Max was relying on defensive moves. As Tommy was about to defeat Max, {{TRT}} interrupted the battle in order to make off with all the Pokémon they stole from the Poké Ball Deposit Room. Tommy teamed with Max and the whole class to battle them. This teamwork caused Tommy to get along with Max and as a result, he and the class were able to defeat Team Rocket with Roxanne's {{p|Geodude}} blasting them off.
