 Mr. Elec helps Bourgain into the ring as the latter introduces himself. When Ash asks what he's doing here, Bourgain reveals that he's the boss of the Revengers, backing them from behind the scenes. This leads to James calling Bourgain a "greedy monster from hell", a remark which Bourgain resents. As the audience boos him and the Revengers, Bourgain reveals that he and the Revengers intend to claim the title of strongest Trainer, and after that they'll buy the Dome and make it part of the Rainbow Happy Resort Company. Ash and Masked Royal speak against Bourgain's plans, but then, Bourgain challenges Masked Royal to a revenge match, in which Masked Royal and Incineroar will team up with Ash and Torracat against the Revengers for the title of the Battle Royal Dome's strongest. Ash and Torracat agree to help out Masked Royal, and so, the challenge is accepted.
-As Team Rocket announces the beginning of the tag battle, Masked Royal hands Ash a mask that resembles his own, declaring him to be Royal Ash, and Ash accepts the mask. Jessie introduces the Revengers, who get booed by the audience, then she introduces the Double Royals, consisting of Masked Royal and Royal Ash. In the audience, Ash's friends and Professor Burnet are excited for Ash as Sophocles states that he is jealous, and Lana declares that she'll become Royal Lana. Jessie does the countdown, and then, the match begins with Incineroar going up against Magmortar. Magmortar uses {{m|Flamethrower}}, but Incineroar counters with {{m|Cross Chop}}. Then, Magmortar and Incineroar exchange {{m|Karate Chop}} and {{m|Throat Chop}} respectively. Then, Incineroar switch out with Torracat. Mad Boober states that Torracat has nerve for attacking Magmortar earlier, to which Ash retorts it was because the Revengers cheated.

 Mad Boober tells Magmortar to use {{m|Feint Attack}}, during which Magmortar walks around on its tippy toes and looks around for something while blushing, causing Torracat to lower its guard, allowing Magmortar to grab Torracat. Then Magmortar uses {{m|Fling}} to throw Torracat. Torracat lands safely and attempts to use {{m|Scratch}}, but it gets grabbed by the Revengers' Poliwrath. Ash states that's fighting dirty, but Mad Boober states that as long as he wins, he doesn't care and tells Magmortar to switch out with Electivire. Electivire hits Torracat with {{m|Wild Charge}}, and attempts a {{m|Low Kick}}, but Torracat manages to dodge it. Masked Royal tells Torracat to switch with Incineroar. Electivire uses {{m|Thunder Punch}}, but Incineroar uses {{m|Bulk Up}} to defend against it, much to Lana's excitement. Electivire attempts another Thunder Punch, but Incineroar uses {{m|Darkest Lariat}} to knock Electivire back.
